Brief Description
This project, situated in the picturesque town of Mount Kisco, NY, it involved a comprehensive transformation of an original home constructed entirely from cement block. The primary objective of this initiative was not only to undertake a complete remodel but also to enhance the home’s energy efficiency, a crucial consideration for modern homeowners and energy code requirements.
The remodel encompassed several key areas, including a beautifully renovated kitchen, a newly designed office space, and an updated bedroom on the first floor. On the second floor, we opted for a complete demolition, allowing for a fresh start and the incorporation of contemporary design elements.
A standout feature of this renovation is the addition of dormers, which infuse the Master suite and two additional bedrooms with a charming and cozy ambiance. However, the crowning achievement of the project is the new entryway.
This inviting entrance serves as the focal point, seamlessly bringing together all the design elements and creating a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests alike. To enhance the home’s exterior, we applied a refined stucco finish, resulting in a simple yet elegant appearance that complements the overall aesthetic of the property.
This project exemplifies the importance of blending functionality with an esthetic appeal while prioritizing energy efficiency..
